Seeds 2000 is a privately held company specializing in the research and development of sunflower hybrids and direct marketing of sunflower, corn and soybean varieties primarily in Minnesota, North and South Dakota and sunflower hybrids in Canada. Aldine’s investment was made in conjunction with a buyout led by a private equity sponsor.
