Design Tanks is a manufacturer of custom storage tanks made from fiberglass-reinforced plastic (“FRP”). FRP offers multiple advantages over plastic, steel, and concrete including corrosion resistance, high strength-to-weight ratio, low maintenance, and long life. The Company’s products are well suited for a variety of applications in the industrial and agricultural markets. Aldine’s investment was made in conjunction with a buyout led by an independent private equity sponsor.
